Maria's Cafe

I love the corn pancakes, the chorizo, and the coffee here. Everything is great. Sometimes they have a musician playing Brazilian and other Latinamericano songs. Service is usually good, but it's a busy busy place so don't expect to get in and out quick during busy periods.

Delicious! Corn Pancake and Bottomless coffee are my absolute favorites. But ventured for a Mango juice today and was pleasantly surprised. Great spot for breakfast & brunch!!

Okay, I'm sitting here right now, it's 12:30 on a Sunday afternoon, writing this review. We have been waiting nearly an hour for our food. I've been so tempted to just get up and walk out! I get that it's a busy place, but this is an awfully Long wait. Our waitress must be pretty new, because she's not doing a very good job. Did we just come here on their worst day, or is this a normal Sunday? The food was decent, but nothing that great that's going to make me want to come back.

Pretty good breakfast! Lots of food! Environment just a little too close for comfort. The other tables are too close!

The Corn pancakes.... OMG!They are amazing! The price is also really good. Get one corn pancake (they are huge) and a side of bacon. Add in a coffee and/or one of the juices... Flavors that you can't get many places... And you have an awesome breakfast at a Fab price! Best breakfast in Minneapolis!

The corn pancakes are perfect - get them with cheese. I'm a big fan of their breakfast in general. Everything in the restaurant is delicious and made from scratch.

Very good food, coffee, and hot chocolate. Got the calentao con huevos, very tasty and very filling, food came quickly. Staff were very attentive, ready to refill our coffee and take our empty plates.

Marias is one of my favorite breakfast places in Minneapolis. It has great Colombian and American food. The service is always great. Go there expecting a wait for a table. You will not be disappointed.

This was my first time having Columbian Breakfast...and I was not disappointed!! The service and food here is unmatched, not to mention the live music! Be sure to get at LEAST one corn pancake...you won’t be disappointed!

This place is a perfect cozy, laid back brunch or lunch spot. The quesadillas are perfectly crisp and flavorful and come with a side of salsa. My friend got the chili and recommended it. If you’re under a time constraint, make sure you order right away because sometimes it can take a little longer for the food. The staff is so friendly and welcoming too!

The food is delicious, I was floored by the sweet and savory flavors of the pancakes. It's warm and bright inside and feels very welcoming. This is an excellent neighborhood restaurant.

Bright sunny restaurant with friendly staff. The basic coffee, was some of the best coffee for a restaurant. The menu was full of authentic items, and it was really hard to decide. This restaurant is a new favorite.

Nice quaint little Colombian spot! You can’t beat getting a Colombian breakfast and a Colombian hot chocolate any time of the year! Simply irresistible.

We had initially planned to go to some crunchy-hipster brunch spot, but when we saw this place was within walking distance of our Air Bnb, we had to stop and try it out!The cafe has a beautiful, unique atmosphere rich with Native history. The staff were so attentive and SO friendly. I had their Saturday special and the food was so lovingly made and truly delicious. I cannot speak highly enough of Maria's Cafe because it was absolutely delightful.

Would definitely recommend trying out this place. Fantastic atmosphere, delicious dishes, fantastic service. They never disappoint.

I love this place. It’s always so cozy, food is great. We usually get Colombian food and taste is amazing, right amount and fair price.Staff is really kind, we’ve been there like 4 times and is always a great time. If it’s your first time it can be a little bit confusing to get there since front door is not available so you have to get into the building and go around until you find the right door.For some reason once you’re there, the first big room is never available, but anyway the main area right in front of the bar is a great location and sometimes they have live music on weekends which makes breakfast cooler!

Can't believe I haven't reviewed Maria's yet! I go here as often as possible, the food is always delicious, the staff is friendly and family-run, and it just feels like home. Very much a thriving community destination. Live music on the weekends. Fantastically huge and reasonably priced pancakes, and the corn pancakes with cotija cheese specifically are delightful. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Minneapolis.

The servers are very attentive. I was seated right away. I had the special but I cannot remember the name picture to follow. The food was excellent. It left feeling very satisfied.

Absolutely delicious!! I got the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had with “American fries” as the side.. so good! I even got to take some home and have it later. We were seated right away, it was a busy morning so it took a little bit to get our food but it was well worth the wait, and there was live music too!

The breakfast is very tasty and fresh, tastes like homemade. The pancakes are huge you only need one to wrap some eggs and a couple pieces of bacon in. Definitely a staple in the city of Minneapolis and worth trying if you haven't
